Icelandic musician Ólafur Arnalds and British actress Emma Watson have teamed up, spending an entire day recording in studio together. They were joined by Ben Hammersley, a good friend of the actress, ruv.is reports. Ólafur reported on his and Watson’s collaboration on Twitter, posting pictures of the three of them in studio. Watson came to Iceland to shoot scenes for Darren Aronofsky’s Noah, in which she plays, and recently declared her love for Icelandic music. Watson’s costar, Australian actor-musician Russell Crowe, has now left Iceland. He bid the country farewell with three concerts on Saturday, Reykjavík Culture Night, with American punk rock legend Patti Smith making a surprise appearance at two of them. Crowe wrote on Twitter: “Iceland you have been wonderful, thanks for everything, hope to see you again sometime.” Click here to read more about Crowe’s performance with Smith and here to read more about Watson’s interest in Icelandic music.
 Ólafur tweeted:
